This project involves the architectural design and adaptation of three block-buildings for different companies within the Engineering City, a large-scale innovation and technology hub located on the outskirts of Yerevan. The city’s masterplan and architectural concept were developed by Storaket Architectural Studio, and all individual buildings must align with a well-defined urban brandbook.
Our task was to develop architectural solutions for three interconnected buildings, each tailored to the needs of a different tech company, while remaining faithful to the formal language and material palette defined for the city. The brandbook emphasized strong geometry, modernity, and simplicity — qualities that guided our approach.
Through an iterative sketching process, we explored a variety of spatial configurations and architectural expressions within the given parameters. The final direction, selected by the client, leaned toward a stronger and more minimalistic interpretation of the brand identity, prioritizing clarity of form and façade logic.
Although construction is still in progress, the project is already a key example of how adaptable design can harmonize with a strict urban framework while responding to individual user needs. It is an ongoing contribution to the creation of Armenia’s most ambitious engineering and innovation hub.
