Located in the heart of Yerevan, this office is nestled within a residential building listed among the architectural monuments of the city. Designed by Gevorg Tamanyan — son of the legendary architect Aleksander Tamanyan — the building embodies historical significance and classical character. For our team, realizing an office project in this space was not only a design challenge, but also a source of pride.
The space serves as the headquarters for FYM Ecosystem — a collaborative network uniting four independent companies under one roof. Instead of following a standard office typology, we envisioned a space that feels like home: a warm, informal, and human-centered environment that fosters both focused work and organic communication.
The design approach was guided by respect toward the original character of the apartment. Key heritage elements were preserved — including the wooden floors and vintage light fixtures. Due to strict limitations on altering the building’s engineering infrastructure, we worked within existing constraints, turning limitations into creative opportunities.
The result is a hybrid working environment where legacy and innovation coexist. Moskovyan 31 is not only a functional workplace, but also a spatial reflection of the FYM Ecosystem’s values: openness, adaptability, and collaboration.
