As a continuation of the architectural concept developed in 2017, our studio was commissioned to design the interior spaces of Kantar Dilijan — refining the hotel’s atmosphere and spatial experience through material, light, and detail.
The interior design phase focuses on developing a language that reinforces the building’s integration with the natural context of Dilijan, while enhancing the co-living hospitality model at the heart of the Kantar brand.
The project includes guest rooms across several categories, as well as a public restaurant, co-working and conference areas, a shared kitchen, and informal lounges. These spaces are conceived as extensions of one another — connected through continuity of material and transitions of light, rather than rigid functional boundaries.
The material palette is drawn from the surrounding landscape and historical textures of Dilijan: natural wood, soft stone surfaces, textured textiles, and accents of deep color referencing local craft traditions. Furnishing and lighting are carefully selected or custom-designed to balance domestic comfort with durable hospitality standards.
A key design focus is on creating layered, human-scaled interiors: warm, tactile, and adaptable to different user rhythms — whether a guest seeks privacy, conversation, or focused work. Emphasis is placed on natural light, acoustic quality, and the relationship between interior and exterior views.
The interior design work is currently in progress, with construction planned for the near future. This phase marks the final transformation of Kantar Dilijan into a complete architectural and spatial experience — one rooted in context, clarity, and emotional resonance.
